On KLM flights children can get a pluche plane called Bluey which also transforms into a cuddly globe when turned inside out. But KLM wanted to offer something more for the kids. We didn’t want to add more physical kids’ stuff on the plane. We knew that on the inflight entertainment system of KLM planes there’s a special children’s page with a few cartoons, movies, and some games. So, we turned Bluey into a 3d animation and created short adventurous adventures which kids could watch during the flight. In that way, KLM could ‘give’ kids something extra without handing it out.
