About
Ruben Sonneveld is, besides being a very nice and funny guy, also a very experienced creative Senior Art Director with over 20 years of advertising experience. After he graduated from the Willem de Kooning Art Academy, he worked at agencies such as DDB&Tribal Amsterdam, TBWA\NEBOKO, Being There, and J. Walter Thompson Amsterdam. He has a great fondness for diversity in his assignments, from a big international fully integrated multimedia campaign to a small social post, he does it all with the same passion and energy. He's always looking for the best concept that suits the assignment, preferably with some humor in it, but he's serious enough to know when it has to be serious. He won numerous advertising awards such as ADCN lamps, Cannes Lions, Eurobest, Esprix, NewYorkFestival, SAN, and an SJP Magnet. He also became second best in the Dutch STER Golden Loeki competition, but whatever price he won, '…in the end, it all starts with a good idea', he says. He's a real team player and loves working with others to improve concepts. Ruben is available as a single freelancer Concept Developer/Sr. Art Director, but he can also team up with a great team of experienced copywriters such as Chris Krabbendam, Thomas Reinhold, Cyril Chermin, J-P Nieuwerkerk, and Allard Jaspars. So, if you are in need of a concept of any kind… Even Ruben Bellen. (Just call Ruben.)
